** Job Responsibilities**

• Responsible for Deploying, installing, configuring and maintaining existing and new servers in both Physical & Virtual environment (Vmware/Hyper-V/Citrix) .

• Configuring & Maintaining OS, computer networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and other IT equipment’s to maximize network efficiency and security.

• Recommend, Schedule and Performing system upgrades and patching following new releases and reconfigurations.

• Assist with LAN and WAN network design, configuration and troubleshooting, including Internet connectivity and security solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of network services such as TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing (OSPF, default and static routing), BGP, VPN, VLAN, port security, bandwidth shaping, LACP etc.

• General Administration of Linux - Installation, Setting Permissions, Mail server, Webserver, FTP, DNS, Proxy, Samba, proxy servers etc.

• Have familiarity with MS SQL server, windows clustering, domain controller setup, Active Directory and group policy.

• Coordinate with the other team members to troubleshoot/fetch required information/fix problems

• Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing firewall policies, virus protection, data security and monitoring access to keep system protected

• Perform and test routine system/network backups and restores.

• Familiarity with NAS and SAN storage management.

• Automate iterative tasks.

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server/network resources, reviewing system and application logs.

• Develop and maintain documentation of current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

** Job Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in computer related programs (BE/BIT/BIM/BCA/BCIS).

• 2+ years working in a relevant role.

• Thorough understanding of Microsoft, Linux, Virtualization, Cloud applications/infrastructure preferred.

• Self-learner, research oriented and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Certifications in Linux/Microsoft/Network/Security will be an added advantage.

• Skill in Oracle based custom built applications on UNIX platforms and Oracle.

• Database Administration skills.

• Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solution in a time sensitive manner.

• Familiarization with DevOps tools (Ansible/Jenkins/GIT).

• Good Communication Skills (Both Verbal and Written).
