Responsibilities:

• Understand the current technology utilized within the organization and develop steps and processes to improve them
• Collaborate with multiple departments to understand the project goals and provide the feasibility from the operational perspective
• Enhance the product scalability and provide high availability
• Improve the product security
• Work closely with the engineering team within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
• Deploy machine learning models at scale
• Utilize the cloud services to ease the deployment
• Act as configuration manager
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor the progress and implementation of initiatives
• Optimize cloud resources and reduce cloud spending

Qualifications for DevOps Engineer

• A Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large organization
• Demonstrated project development and leadership skills
• Understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Coding and Scripting skills
• Detailed knowledge of Web and Application Server
• Understanding of AWS and Azure services
• Experience building CI/CD pipeline
• Understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Building a containerized platform and possessing container orchestration experience
