The Job

For our QA team, we are looking for outstanding engineers to play a crucial role in assuring world-class quality in the next-generation SIEM solution. We are seeking new colleagues, who are inspired by complex and advanced technology, want to work in a team-oriented environment, and are motivated to solve a broad range of challenges. A big part of this job is scaling our testing efforts working with automation and continuous integration.

Professional Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience
• Coding experience with Python scripting, Java, and web-based technologies
• Experience with Automation is a plus
• Experience with Jmeter, API testing, performance testing
• Good understanding of Linux operating system
• Experience with SQL and databases
• Good knowledge of web vulnerabilities and security Testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understand the value, necessity and purpose of Quality Assurance in software development
• A genuine passion for Testing and understand the customer scenarios on the basis of nature of product
• Experience of automation and building tools to help do your job and assist rest of the team
• Have understanding of what is to be automated and what automation means on testing
• Comprehensive knowledge on OS components

Personal Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or B.E. in Computer Engineering or related field
• Great passion about technology trends and all things related to testing
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail
• Pride in your work and a strong sense of responsibility
• Be excited about automation and building tools to help do your job and assist the rest of the team

Key Responsibilities

• Attend/Review requirements specifications and technical design documents
• Discussions and provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create/review detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases/test data on the basis of requirement documents
• Create appropriate test strategy/plans for the planned release
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Add values to the automation team with suggestions for automation team
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track system defects
• Perform software quality assurance, feature testing(black and white box testing), integration testing, feature regression testing, Customer scenario testing
• Create meaningful customer scenarios for testing
• Develop, document, and maintain manual/automated test scripts, test cases, test data, defect tracking
• Involve in the sprint planning, standups for the QA updates and feedbacks.
