Job Description
The main objective of a Sales Coordinator is to ensure that company’s sales goals are met. They are also responsible for managing sales staff and discovering new sales opportunities. Sales coordinators must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress work environment. The role involves the supervision of a variety of staff in the company and also interact with various external service providers.
The key responsibilities for a sales coordinator include:
- To develop relationships with key customers
- To analyze customer demographics and market trends
- To research upon, investigate and analyze competitors to identify new sales opportunities
- To develop a sales plan and strategy for the products
- To create sales forecasts
- To meet deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress work environment.
- To present sales reports to management
- To supervise sales team
- To make sure that the collection from the party is on time based on ageing
Qualifications Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, preferably related to the food/snacks industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in organizing a team, delegating responsibility and assigning staff to roles. (Should be an experienced executive who has worked at many different levels in the food/snacks industry)
- Able to prepare good sales report
- Good communication skills; verbal and written
- Good interpersonal skills with persuasive nature
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Team management and leadership skills
- An innovative and creative person
- High level IT and report preparation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
