DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for self-driven, motivated and result oriented professional to be part of our dynamic team as a “Principal Engineering Manager”.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.

  • Have a detailed understanding of multiple project's goals and objectives, ensuring quality delivery of the projects.

  • Lead client-facing activities related to relationship building and maintenance, client communication, issue resolution, understanding clients’ business strategies, goals and vision in order to develop account strategies and execute value-added opportunities.

  • Provide hands on technical leadership to team members through coaching and mentorship and guide the team’s effort towards successful project delivery.

  • Assign and oversee the delivery of technical personnel while ensuring teams are actively working toward established milestones.

  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.

  • Create and execute development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Participate in resources hiring and manage them effectively as per the project requirement.

  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical delivery team.

  • Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors developers and senior developers through formal and informal channels.

  • Keeps development team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.

  • Cooperates with executive team, supervisor, clients, peers and others. Supports the team effort and contributes to company goals.

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Master’s Degree Preferable.

  • 5+ years of industry experience along with interest in Business Intelligence, Software implementation and Process Management.

  • Proven experience in leading concurrent projects and task by managing a team of technical staffs.

  • Excellent communication skill and proven ability to carry on a business conversation at all levels.

  • Strong Leadership, Decision Making and Problem Solving skill.

  • Willingness to travel outside country as per need.

  • International exposure/experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Experience and understanding of data warehouse design and implementation.

  • Experience using Project Management Tool.

  • Good understanding of database technologies.

  • Prior experience with a Business Intelligence reporting tool.
