JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ensure that the complete sets of books of accounts and financial records is maintained on a daily basis following standard accounting principles and organizational policies.

  • Assist in ensuring that day to day record keeping that is maintained by the financial associate meets the company standards and requirements of the Nepal government.

  • Stay updated on changes in financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

  • Work together with the human resource officer and ensure that there are up to date records of time-sheet; leave; inventories, company assets and other related documents.

  • Identify areas of cost optimization and recommend strategies for resource allocation.

  • Maintain the overall financial management of the organization, create standards for all sorts of financial records management.

  • Help in generating financial reports on a periodic basis and discuss it with the board of the company.

  • Assist in reviewing the existing financial policies and make revisions if any as per the current law of the country.

  • Help analyze financial data and trends to identify insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Facilitate audits and prepare monthly records in such a way that it directly contributes to the yearly audit.

  • Visit banks, tax offices, CIT, PF office and other offices as and when required and ensure all documents are submitted and maintained on time.

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor budgetary performance and provide regular reports to management.

  • Maintain and keep the record of the handover and takeover of physical assets.

  • Perform physical verification of the assets and inventories on a periodic basis.

  • Ensure proper compliance with the policies of the organization and value for money of all expenditure before making payments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.

  • At Least 3+ years of relevant financial work experience preferably with an IT based tech consulting company.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably in a corporate or non-profit organization.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.

  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Soft Skills

  • Strong financial , accounting and reporting skills.

  • Ability to write reports and minutes in English and Nepali languages.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects under time constraints.

  • Can work well within team dynamics.
