The Finance and Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient financial management and smooth operation of the organization. This role involves overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Salary : up to 40 K Negotiable

Job Location: Chandol, Bishalnagar, Kathmandu

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense reports.

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

2. Administrative Support:

  • Handle general administrative tasks, including office supplies procurement and vendor management.

  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.

  • Maintain office facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.

  • Help create and maintain a conducive and organized work environment.

3. Records and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and administrative records.

  • Manage electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.

  • Ensure compliance with record retention policies and data privacy regulations.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary financial and administrative information.

  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing documents and information for audits, both internal and external.

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.

  • Generate and submit required reports to regulatory bodies as needed.

6. Problem Solving and Analysis:

  • Identify areas of improvement in financial processes and suggest solutions.

  • Analyse financial data to provide insights for better decision-making.

  • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or running in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
