Call for Preparation of High Resolution DEM and Orthophoto Maps
NAXA, along with its partners, have been working on the design, development, and implementation of the Integrated Assessment Platform (DASTAA). DASTAA is an integrated digital system that is used for collecting, managing, and processing geospatially referenced survey data.
About DASTAA
DASTAA is a one-stop digital solution with an integrated web and mobile application for decision analysis, assessment, visualization, forecasting of events, decision communication, and action support. The digital system consists of two major components: a web application and a mobile application. The mobile app can be used by agencies for data collection and also to communicate collected information while the web-based application can be used to visualize assessments, set up decision alert messages, and also as a decision support system for multiple users. The key users of DASTAA are governments, humanitarian agencies, private sectors, communities, and also could be individual households.
For this project, 60 sq. km of the area will be surveyed to generate the high- resolution orthophoto map and to survey the villages adjacent to the rivers for accurate flood modeling in Nepal. This initiative will significantly enhance the accuracy of the risk score of individual households and improve the reliability of the data we disseminate.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The overall objective of this assignment is to capture high resolution aerial images and prepare Digital Elevation Model including the Orthophoto maps.
Carry out UAV surveys of identified sites and capture high resolution aerial images of the ground survey with a 50 m buffer around the peripheral boundary.
Install precise Ground Control Points (GCPs) across the project locations.
Prepare a high resolution Orthphoto map.
