Position: Business Development Intern Openings: 4

Duration: 3 months

Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's overall concept, including its brand, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of service. You will work closely with your supervisor to fulfill assigned tasks and responsibilities, attend meetings (both in-house and outbound), take minutes, and represent the company as needed. You will conduct market research, manage databases, input information, and gather industry insights. Engaging with customers or clients to provide service and/or sales as per daily/monthly targets will also be part of your duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including its brand, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisor/s.
  • Attend in-house and outbound meetings, take minutes, and represent the company.
  • Rotate through divisions of responsibility and provide ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Perform market research at supervisor's request.
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
  • Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry.
  • Engage with customers or clients and provide service and/or sales as per daily/monthly targets.
  • Provide weekly reporting and monthly presentations on updates.
  • Update and post supervised social media content; respond to web correspondence, and emails.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute innovative ideas.

  • Priority will be given to those who have their own vehicle.
